Man that sounds like a killer set. Longer than I would have thought too!

 

Died and went to heaven when they were talking about the Aussie people and then ripped into Adelaide. My girlfriend and I have a special connection with that song.

KILLER SHOW. Can't wait for tomorrow. Hoping they don't play any of the same songs as tonight but I know that's impossible.

That Freudian Slip about it being their "last show" makes me feel like they'll be touring at some point next year. Amazing show.

I'm glad it's happening, but it is funny. Band breaks up, says they'll never get back together. Play one special show, but that's gonna be the only one. "the fire is reignited" or whatever, and band decides they are back together and will go on a full tour.

I'm so stoked this band is back. First time I ever crowd-surfed was at an Anberlin show. I landed on stage, Stephen helped me up and gave me a hug. It was insanity for me.

 

Stephen is such a pal to crowdsurfers. I crowdsurfed to Anberlin at Warped Tour in (I think??) 2008 and rushed to the front of the stage screaming the lyrics to Stephen, who pointed at me and was all stoked and it was a moment until security pulled me away haha.

 

Lol. That sounds like one of those dreams you wake up from in a cold sweat.

 

Except it was Warped Tour, so it'd be a very hot, sweaty....sweat.

Checks out. Weird cause DGD played 9, I'm wondering if they had to cut it short due to time. They were 15 mins behind. Oh well!!

 

That's a fantastic small set list though.

 

Oh for sure! Didn't mean to come off as complaining. The first night was definitely an insane performance. They are having so much fun on stage and I love it.

 

Watching some live YouTube videos. Golly gee. I don't know if I've ever seen a group of people so happy on stage. I can't believe they're back. Even with this trend of bands coming back, I just can't believe it.
