Good news: my 2000-2018 shirt FITS. Lots of people said the older shirts were way small, but this one was definitely true to size!!

So I posted that my tickets for one show came in.
However I'm still waiting on tickets for the atlanta show. That is the show that you don't actually know your seats until you get your tickets so I really hope I get them soon!

Anyone here have video of You Won't Know from tonight by chance? Brand New Archive on Twitter said that there was a "vocal tease" during the bridge/outro.

Yeah, i'm interested in seeing that as well. Really enjoyed it but couldn't makeout what he was singing.

Edit- i think he was singing something like, "cause now i'm freeeee"

    Someday I’ll find me Prestigious

I was wearing my "I Am A Nightmare" shirt, which struck up a conversation with Dustin, Teppei, and my wife and I about Brand New. It was just a super brief reference to their radio interview when they said they'd believe the breakup stuff when they see it. No new information. Haha.

Haha still that's awesome man. The guys are so cool. Last year I talked to Dustin for maybe 30 minutes about C.S Lewis. I kept thinking I should let him go and then he would keep the conversation going. Super genuine guy. I told him I was going down to AZ to see them play with Brand New and he went on about how much he loves those guys.

It sounded like "I am so sad, cause now I'm free" to me.

It was my 14th time seeing them last night, and the new album can't come out soon enough, that setlist is so stale. I can't imagine how bored they are of playing Jesus.

If they were bored I don't think they would be playing at all.

I mean I obviously don't know the band at all. But they just come across as people who would not do what they don't want to do. The lack of "legitimate" touring, the incredibly slow release "schedule", their lack of interviews/press releases.... They seem to just do whatever they want. It works for them somehow.

    Maybe so, maybe not.

I'm BNA, so will clarify: Definitely some kind of wrinkle in the bridge and outro of YWK that I had never heard before. Maybe teasing the next single? That's my best guess.

All around great show...cool venue with great sound and a very respectful crowd. Limousine was VERY good (4 guitarists) and the playing was tight apart from some perplexing flubs (At The Bottom bridge comes to mind). Had a good time, as always.

They don't need to do this to feed the kids. Especially Jesse. I mean his wife is a super talented tailor that does stuff for Express with like Steph Curry

He added something to Missing You in Denver 2015 too. I don't think it's anything to dig into. I think he's just mixing it up.

I still like when they do it and I definitely want to see a video if anyone finds one.

Heres a video of Missing You in Denver

Anyone at the show tonight? I'll be there soon and make my way to the middle of the floor somewhere. Green hoodie and beige 2000-2018 shirt. Come say hi!

I should of checked this sooner. I was there and in that area.

Jesse in PCTS tonight: "just a couple more years now" so yeah RIP BN IN 2018. I'm so fine and at peace with that now.

Sidenote: They desparately need to introduce new songs in their set imo. Setlist was different from night 1 but still dare I say a little stale on night 2. Both were good shows though.

Next Show - Foals April 22nd

I probably saw you and had no idea. I ended up making friends with the people around me which was cool.

To add on to what Jesse said, there was something along the lines of "It's weird when I realize this is the last time I'll be playing these songs". This speech also came after he played the first 20 seconds of Play Crack The Sky, stopped abruptly and was like shit sorry I forgot to thanks Mewithoutyou.

Both nights were a completely different experience for me and although I had a much better spot for night two I feel like night one was the better show. The crowd and the band just seemed more energetic on the Saturday night. Sunday's show also didn't sell nearly as well, they didn't even open the balcony upstairs. Before we bash Montreal it was also Grand Prix weekend (Sunday was race day), Tame Impala had a show, it was the International Beerfest, etc. In short, they had a lot to compete with.

Now onto some pictures and video. I had posted my night 1 video in the supporters forum but I'll share it here too.

Interesting adlibs for You Won't Know. I wonder what that's about. Jesse probably adds stuff just for fun. When I saw them at The Mann Center, Jesse started singing the lyrics to "Louie, Louie" during You Won't Know

How much does one earn annually doing this type of work?

What specifically do the other guys in the band do for work outside of the band?

Agree. But wouldn't you be able to enjoy a more care-free, "do whatever I want" kind of existence if you knew you could always just slap a quick tour together to grab some big cash fast?

Would also like to point out that releases are almost completely irrelevant to this band as far as an income generator. They've been successfully touring off of the same songs since 2009.

Was the following IG post made by Sapone ever brought up or discussed?

You can see a list of potential songs/mixes for the new album in the background, fuzzrocious pedals previously posted by Brand New, and the zebra figure, which is normally found atop Vin's or Garret's amps during their live shows. Brand New is also tagged in it, along with Jerry Ordonez, who's a recording/mixing engineer.

Is it safe to say he's mixing the record? He was at least there during the recording process based on some of his IG posts.

Hey man, we all can't be like you Supporter

That's a ProTools mix screen. So all the labels are on individual instrument tracks, not songs.

We talked about it briefly in the Supporter Brand New thread. @Jason Tate seemed pretty enthused on the idea that Jerry would be mixing, at least some, of the album.

This might fit the alleged "I am free" lyrics in YWK. Just look at the "be free" label on the far right. Could be related
