My hype is at a low simmer at best.

 

Captain Marvel in her full, proper suit in action looks great. And, Fury loving up on that [flerken] cat is good content.

 

I’m a jerk and really just want A4.

 

Same even though I know this is necessary set up.

 

Want this so much more than another Avengers movie.

 

It looks good. Both trailers haven’t done much for me but there have only been a few Marvel trailers that have ever hyped me up so I’m not concerned.

 

I’m actually caring less and less for an A4 trailer. I was excited a few weeks ago but they keep holding it out and eh. Captain Marvel and the new Godzilla information have filled that void.

 

Same. This is something special.

 

That shit was way more hype than I expected and I am fully on board with this bad ass woman

I love Larson and I know she and the movie will be great, but right now I just really still don’t buy her as Captain Marvel. Maybe it’s the delivery of the voiceover in the trailer?

When I read the comics I always imagine a more Charlize Theron-type.

 

I’m ridiculously excited for this. I loved Brie Larson in Room and I thought she was pretty darn charasmatic in Skull Island too.

 

Shit. I got the chills watching the new one! I cannot wait for this.

Is it just me or they really wanna try a darker, less comedic tone with this one?

One thing this trailer has convinced me of is that a DBZ movie can work if the right people are behind it. Carol flying through the sky in binary mode is straight up DBZ material

 

Really? I love Carol, and I love Charlize Theron, and I do not agree.

I do think that there's a certain heroic swagger to the character that they haven't showcased enough in these trailers, but they're just trailers. I know Brie Larson has that in her. The scene with Fury asking her about her pilot ability certainly gets into that territory.

 

Eh, I don’t bother figuring that out with trailers. Remember when Age of Ultron trailer dropped and everyone thought it would be super dark and such? But it was just as funny as other Marvel movies. Well, it had as much humor, and guess how funny depends on each viewer.

 

I'm very excited for this movie, but something about Brie's delivery of her lines just feels off to me. Almost as if she's just reading them or something. Idk. Hopefully it works better in the full movie compared to a few snippets of dialogue in the trailers. She's been great in other movies I've seen her in so I still have high hopes for this. All the action scenes looked awesome.

 

Yep. Six of us making the drive, none of us found a seat together tho. Sold too quick lol

 

Dialogue can be recorded specifically for a trailer so that’s a possibility.

I’m going by myself lol none of my friends are into MLS.
Just a heads up, it’s going to be windy and rainy. The roof will be closed but I would prepare for the walk from the lots to the stadium.

 

Feel the same way. I'm thinking maybe everything just works better in the context of the movie. Or they're just voice overs for the trailer.

 

Yeah I agree with the delivery. Really noticeable on that "I'm gonna end it" line.
