Was this the splendour sideshow or the pre album tour? I’m still rather bummed we never got an actual headline tour for ILIWYS. The Sydney splendour sideshow was in this god awful convention hall that isn’t even a music venue. It was so bad.

Started listening just now. The intro and how to draw/petrichor floored me, I don't remember the last time when I reacted that violently to a song, omg.

 

Glad everyone is experiencing this, still can’t get over him describing Petrichor as the moment when the BBC switches to dance music randomly

 

like pretty much every song on here is a career highlight for them, in my eyes.

 

This was absolutely incredible gonna sleep so I can listen again and again and again tomorrow

 

I’m blown away. It’s 2am on the east coast and I’m wide awake thinking about this record. Thankful for this community

 

I went to this show and was pretty close up to the front. The amount of people passing out/having to step out because of the heat was pretty worrying. ICC should be better!

 

Yes, thankfully! It’s at a relatively new venue that I haven’t been too yet that I don’t think was open in 2016. In 2016 there was the Hordern which holds 5500 and then Qudos Bank Arena that holds 20000 and nothing in between because they knocked down the entertainment centre without a back up.

I’m one of the few that love The 1975 but wasn’t too high on ILWYS. But wow this one is amazing. The best thing I can compare the feeling of that first listen was “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” where it’s such a fully-formed album from the first listen and doesn’t have a misstep.
