Anyone watching the live stream of the show? So did he just get hurt or start crying? I’m very confused. They apparently stopped the show because people got hurt.

I haven’t heard the album yet, so I can’t speak to sequencing, but i wanted to comment to say that this is just about the perfect summation of my feelings regarding that song.

I’ve basically been telling a variation of this to anyone who will listen. I think I could write a treatise on that song.

 

They were live streaming the show on Dirty Hit’s instagram and he jumped into the crowd at the end of Love It If We Made It and when he was pulled out by security he kind of just dropped to his knees and it looked like he was either in pain or was crying and then the feed stopped. Twitter is saying apparently someone got hurt cause the crowd went mental and they briefly stopped the show. I think it’s fine now though? Can’t find anymore info. Hope everyone is okay.

Gatekeeping is really unnecessary. I relistened to ILIWYS and found a lot to love and admittedly a lot I didn’t. This seems to be a bold new chapter for the band and it’s pretty much all I want to listen to. It doesn’t have anything to do with critical acceptance, I just think it’s an incredible piece of music. Instead of reducing people’s taste, just be happy that a bunch of people that didn’t click with the old stuff really like this and there is no need for penance

If that happened, I didn't see it. I recall him being very clear about how much he liked the original album and that he just liked the songs so much that he wanted to put his own spin on them. Taylor was also pretty excited about that project, if I'm remembering correctly.

Holy cow. Watching some of the Instagram live videos from the show tonight and WOW. The crowd is so loud. I cannot wait to see Give Yourself a Try and It's Not Living live, among the others. So frickin' awesome.
