I'll see you again in 25 years Prestigious

Yes, and it won't get done in time (which is fine) so no way it comes out when they want it to

Good cause I think this first one might kill me. I'll need a good 6 months to recover.

  5. I mean they do have some free time in February to finish it. I could see them putting it out in June still.

The concept of it coming out in June is really cool to me because senior year feels really long so it's kinda cool that this album is the soundtrack to now and then by the time I'm graduating we could have Notes.

Notes is probably much further along than we think. I’m guessing it’s ready for mixing before they start the tour

I was under the impression they had so many songs for a brief inquiry that they were going to just do two albums. So the songs were pretty much there and written before the real recording sessions began

  17. Same. I think that combined with some older stuff like 28 coming back, and the fact that Notes seems to fit the initial vision for the "Music For Cars" album it might have been quicker for them to finish.

I think the one-two of "Inside Your Mind" and "I'm Not Living" is my favorite part of the record.

The second movement is where I have trouble. That doesn't hang together for me, especially with "Sincerity Is Scary" plopped in there.

The first 2 albums definitely worked in thirds. It's interesting how "It's Not Living" does the same job that "The Sound" does and is placed in relatively the same spot. There's a discussion to be had about how they sequence.

I Couldn't Be More in Love into I Always Wanna Die is gorgeous.

Also, Matty's answer to this question on the Genius page for I Couldn't Be More in Love is awesome:

Do you think you’ll rip the solo yourself when you play it live?

Oh, I’ll rip it to fuck.
