Yeah Teen Titans was probably the most surprising movie of the year. Absolutely loved it.

I’m sorry for bumping for dumb reason even though I’m just mad hyped for this

at first I was eh on sunflower but now it’s like my favorite song and it feels like it fits the vibe of this movie a lot.

Forgot to mention this, but if you're still going this Saturday, I have one big piece of advice: GET THERE EARLY. Like, at least an hour and a half, if not two-plus hours early. There's gonna be a big line of people attending the pre-screening, and these things are intentionally overbooked to ensure a full house. Just having the pass won't get you in. I go to quite a few advance screenings, and there's always lots of people there. This especially applies to when it's for a big superhero movie. I'd hate it if you and a friend drove all that way and got denied because all the seats are taken. At least get there fast enough to ensure yourselves some good seats

This goes for everyone else seeing this early that isn't as familiar with how some of the advance screenings usually go down

Thanks! I did see that warning when I reserved my spot, lol. I legit wanna aim for like at least 3 hours early, or even more!

Question that's probably stupid: If I registered for 2 people & don't get another person, am I still fine to go w/ that pass alone? I'm not sure who I wanna invite, since the first two people that come to mind might not be available. And, I'm also tempted to just do it solo so I can just do whatever I want and not coordinate with anyone, y'know? lol.

Yeah you're good, I've done that several times. Hell, I've done with Admit Two was the only option and it was fine then. Though I'd suggest getting two only if you're sure you'll get another friend on board, otherwise you're screwing one more person out of a free screening

Also, I would not be surprised if you still found some dozen people in line in front if you should you still get there three hours early

Maybe they can get their shit together and not take ten years on these movies.

Is Spider-Woman (Jessica Drew) not supposed to cameo in Spider-Man: Far From Home?

  18. Was Marvel this blatant when they started out building the MCU other than post-credit scenes?

I hate that now we get "more universe coming before you even get to see this bit of the universe" announcements.

  19. Heh they’re still that blatant. The movies are basically commercials for other movies now.

Anyone following Marvel Studios in 2007 (around the time the teaser for Iron Man was released) knew that an Avengers movie was in the future. I believe it was in a 2007 press release.

Edit: It was actually 2006 when Marvel announced a seven-year deal Merrill Lynch that they revealed their plans leading to the Avengers.

Yeah, the Avengers train (including Ant-Man) was rolling back in '06. It's always bad to get ahead of yourself, but if the individual projects are good (and Spider-Verse looks like VERY good superhero fun), who cares?

I want live-action Silk really bad, but since this looks likely to be my new favorite superhero film of all time, bring on more of it. Would like if this Peter ended up having a daughter. And, wanna see Spider-Man 2099 eventually. Can't see them ever committing to Superior Spider-Man or Scarlet Spider in live action, so those characters would be cool, too. So much to tap into.

I'm fine with Sony putting the characters in their animated films and then potentially appearing in the MCU as live action. Maybe Disney and Sony can share the rights with those characters like they have with Peter.
