Matty does a lot of things haha. But he wrote the song so I'm gonna go with how he chooses to pronounce it haha.

 

Like if you don’t want the “g” said don’t put it in the word. Heh. “Ugh” is a word ... it’s got the g sound in it.

Never heard that! Either way I'm gonna go with how Matty says it I guess paha. I don't hear people ever saying UGG when they're stressed/pissed off/sighing haha.

 

I hope they revisit HCB on the next album. I remember at one point Matty posted a video seeming to hint at that.

There's an audio sample on that one too! Same as with google - first audio sample says UHH, despite the spelling. I have no context for UGG.

 

I’m more than willing to die on a ‘g’ sound argument as anyone that’s ever said gif around me will attest.

What people are saying then is “uh.” Two different words. People say things wrong all the time. Five seconds of any podcast I’ve ever been on will prove that out! It should still have the g sound tho.

 

Yeah it's absolutely UH he should've written, cos it certainly isn't being pronounced that way haha. Gif is gif. Jif is washing up liquid or something.

“It’s Not Living” I suppose. It also fits a little awkward in the sequencing.

It’s Not Living for sure. Feel like they’ve done that type of song to death.

 

Yeah, It's Not Living wouldn't be out of place on the first album I don't think. Maybe that's a reach. Idk. It's the one song so far that's reminded me the most of the first, anyway.

 

I love TOOTIME^3, but it’s my least favorite of the 5.

 

Sincerity might be my favorite song by the band now. I love everything about it.
