I'm very glad most people have gotten over their aversion to autotune and electronics. That phase of hate and arguments was very annoying.

This is great. I like how he mentions how men ask what they’re allowed to do around women now in the me too era and he says “appropriate things”.

 

Just wanted to say thanks @Jason Tate for answering questions because this is way better for me to understand and interpret than reviews with fancy adjectives for the sake of sounding smart.

 

You’re crazy for that in a different way. It helps anchor the first part of the album, and without it you’re going from intro into how to draw way too fast.

 

I predict I will find this album: ok

 

As an aside I put all of the EP tracks into 1 album called IV and it’s a really nice listen on a rainy night like tonight it.

Wild how much quality material has been put out by this band in such a short time

 

Good concept but I'm sure they already have an EP caller IV? Or have I just completely missed the point?

yeah originally i named it "Music For Cars" just because i loved the name of the EP and thought it was very fitting for that style of music, music you can zone out to but still has a drive and a level of detail to it to keep it engaging. when we all thought the 3rd album was going to be called Music For Cars i just changed the entire batch of songs to "IV" just because it makes sense that 4 EPs make one whole hence IV. I also threw Medicine in as the closer to kind of play around with the idea of IV being like an I.V. used in hospitals. it was honestly just me trying to keep things organized but it spiraled into me trying to actually make an album out of them.
