What's the consensus on 22 a Million? I don't go back to it much but I like parts of it

 

I loved a few songs off it, but it isn't something I'd regularly go back to. Heard apparently new stuff is even further in that direction too.

 

Also I said that cause it’s just male British Siri reading a little story. Not much reason to listen each time for over three minutes. People could skip the mostly instrumental and weird electronic songs, but I hope they don’t. Those rule.

 

I love it. And I think that comp works better than Radiohead imo.

Considering ILIWYS is my #1 1975 track I’m loving everything that’s being said

 

22AM is one of my favorite albums of the decade so yes please

It’s my favorite closer from them. Last two songs are as good as this band gets.

Not like a radio hit. There's gonna be songs people love from fans though. 12-15 are going to be the kinda shit to cry to.

Hold up, are you saying a decent chunk of this album is in the same vein as Lostmyhead/ title track of the last one?

 

I was expecting a full album of pop songs, and the next one would be like the mid of Iliwys

 

After all of the singles I am expecting an album of stuff that combines everything all at once

 

Nope. "Lost My Head" is very dreamy and atmospheric. "HTD/P" and "America" are not that. Think Bon Iver and lots of autotune.

 

You've already heard the poppiest songs. By far. And "TOOTIME" sticks out a little in hindsight.
