i showed my gf Jackbox games and played them with another couple a week or two ago and she loves them. now they are her solution for family gatherings. she’s asked i bring them to dinner at her cousin’s tonight and we are also going to bring them to Christmas dinner. should be interesting lol

I still don't know what jackbox is. Is it like a grab bag of "party games" for a console or is it like actual games you can find in stores?

 

The former. But one of the reasons it’s so popular is the ease of accessibility. If one person has the game the rest of the people can participate with their phones, rather than needing additional controllers

 

yeah it’s a set of 5-6 party games for console, digital download only. some stuff is like adult Pictionary and word games with a twist and some are original ideas like working as a team to survive an office job where everything is filled with bombs and doing something like failing to alphabetize a filing cabinet kills everyone. all of it is killer and there are 5 packs out at the moment
