I’ve never made more money in my life and my girlfriend and I combined don’t come close to $75k a year.

 

My wife and I do fine but I just feel like with a mortgage, cars, childcare, groceries, and grad school, we have zero way of saving money each month. What comes in goes right back out

 

My sisters fiancé is getting a 50,000 dollar bonus this year.

I do well considering how low teacher pay is in other places, but with cost of living in New York I don’t see myself putting away anything substantial for another 5-10 years. As soon as I make enough to save, I’ll be having kids and it’ll be even harder

 

Yeesh. Yeah those are the tough ones where you’re like ..

As Hannah and I plan a wedding, we have a couple friends also planning their wedding. Which will be about two months before ours. Their budget is literally four to five times what ours is. When they started talking about how her dad needs to have a video drone I almost choked on my beer.

 

Don’t get me started on weddings.

Take that money and put it towards a house or something that lasts longer than a day.

 

I don’t even comprehend a career path that gets someone a $50,000 bonus.

 

All I want in a wedding is tasty food, an open bar, my closest friends and literally a structure to be inside. That’s it.

 

Finance, consulting, something sales based

Commercial real estate. On top of his regular salary. And he’s 28. What do you even do with that money?

 

My brother had a court house wedding in a nice city that only some family came to and that was so ideal to me

 

Hahaha. Yeah. I can’t wrap my head around that much money for one day.

Seeing the prices is heart attack inducing.

 

Sometimes it feels like I’ve spent what the equivalent of what a wedding would cost on Bumble dates so at least they save money there

 

Going on a massive diet saved me money on food at least.
