Haha, well what I CAN say is that "Anna Begins" is definietly my favorite song off AAEA

 

Mr. Jones: I think I can say Ghost Train is my least favorite on the album. It's still a 5/5, but it's never spent any time as my favourite, whereas Mr. Jones clued me that this band was really something special ("I wish I was beautiful" and the verse before the second chorus) and hasn't lessened with age at all.
Perfect Blue Buildings: Mr. Jones got me interested, but this was the next song I listened to way back when and I knew immediately that this was basically going to be my favourite band, and I don't feel that way often. Sullivan Street is a powerhouse, though.
Rain King: Oof, I don't know what to say about this one because I'm still not confident in my choice. They're both quintessential.

 

Going to be real sad if "Sullivan Street" loses this early. Probably my second or third favorite from this record.

 

I'm cool with whatever losing early on, the album is so good there's bound to be really tough matches even in the early rounds

 

I love "Perfect Blue Buildings" but I would urge those voting for it to listen to like...the stretch from 3:15 to the end of "Sullivan Street."

 

It is absolutely one of my favorite Adam vocal performances.

 

I feel like I normally would have picked "Sullivan Street" but got kind of burnt out on it when they were opening with it nearly every show the past few years haha

 

Perfect Blue Buildings has been one of my favorites on this album (along with Anna Begins) for nearly 25 years.

 

I'm still okay with having picked Perfect Blue Buildings, but I just listened to that stretch and... dammit if this isn't the best band of all time
