  2. Feeling pretty good after that win yesterday. Steelers should beat Broncos, Raiders, and then they need to take one from either Pats, Chargers, or Saints.

Jags should take a QB in the 2nd. Minshaw or some shit.

Dear You is a classic. But yeah, Jawbreaker would not be as well regarded if that wasn't the note they ended on.

Jonah Williams and someone with the swagger of Minshew. Yeah, we could definitely win six games in 2019.

So I haven't watched many Jags games outside of when y'all played us, but what are the reasons for being bad this year? Is it 90% on Bortles like some people are saying?

  9. Definitely seems like they don't trust Bortles to throw the ball. A play action pass or two would have killed the Steelers yesterday.

Also, I'm not sure of the snap count for Fournette, but he and the oline were absolutely dismantling the Steelers defense yesterday. It seems like he didn't get that many carries in the second half? Or maybe they just had so many 3 and outs.

    - Nathaniel Hackett is a bottom three OC. The Jags run the most predictable offense in the NFL and he's afraid to take anything he defines as a risk. And he defines throwing on 3rd and long a risk.

    - Todd Wash is playing it safe and not calling the defense to their strengths. You see it specifically with the DBs. Ramsey is getting gassed early on because Wash calls zone, teams notice this, and send their best guy on decoy routes to exhaust Ramsey. Colts were especially good at that.

    - Bortles is just not good at football. In the end we lost the game cause of defense but on our last possession we had to punt because Bortles drastically misread a read option. He had 15+ yards of open space because the Steelers sent everyone at Fournette (because we are so predictable). Could've sealed the game if he read the play properly. And it was an OBVIOUS play too. Bud Dupree was at a sharp angle and practically falling forward in anticipation.

    - Keelan Cole has had some huge issues with drops. Outside of that, the hate the receivers get is overblown. Bortles can't play Moncrief to his strengths. Westbrook has been fine. Chark, while he has made several mistakes, gets NO good looks from Bortles. He gets at least two passes a game where Bortles doesn't even give him a chance.

    - Injuries, injuries, injuries. I know every team has them but this was our third game of the season where we had every starter in the secondary. The offensive line, which wasn't very good to begin with, is also decimated. Not having Fournette for pretty much the entire year has been killer too. The Giants cut two players and now those two players are starters for us.

Basically, we need to get rid of AT LEAST Hackett and Wash. I'm down with moving on from Bortles and if Marrone doesn't think he should move on from any of those three then it's time to move on from him as well.

Reich has been awesome. I forgot what it was like to watch a team that wasn’t out-coached on a week to week basis
