I'd love to see bell on the eagles but there's probably no way they'd put that $$$ in for a rb

Not really. Jones sucks but he’s fast as shit. And you’re not giving Allen what little credit he deserves - the dude is fuckin dangerous as a runner. Make teams focus on Bell so much that Allen rips off more 20 yard runs in read option. And then teams try to contain Allen the next time he rolls out and he throws an angle route or option route to Bell. You could sustain a really simple offense that way. Wouldn’t beat everybody but would catch a lot of unprepared or not well coached teams off guard, while they slowly work on Allen being a real QB

The jets have a below average OL, awful receivers, an overpaid change of pace rb, spent 16m on trumaine Johnson (who's played like 3 games), has no edge rush, has awful coaching


So yea, they will use all the money for bell instead of fixing any of those things hahaha

He’s played like ass this year. I get that. But damn. We need a new OC before I throw in the towel. The offense is so predictable every game, and the line can barely keep pressure off him.

Someone said today to bring back Linehan as OC and I cried a little bit. What a mess

He's such an interesting QB. Seems like year to year he floats between near elite to below average, but he is by far the best QB the Lions have had like ever lol

Yeah. He’s infuriatingly inconsistent at times but straight up I swear people forget how truly abysmal our QB play was before him. Like, we started Orlovsky. I know it’s a low bar to compare Stafford to, but I’ll take him over the mess we fielded for years.

Although I think the fact that he made such a turnaround may have to do with your coaching staff, which is another red flag against ours but also indicates that the Cowboys o-line might be overpaid after all

That or it's just way easier to play next to Tyron Smith than Julien Davenport (I know Freddy didn't play)

 

He's horrible but he'd probably be like the 3rd best on our line at this time (2nd best if Fulton is still out)

 

I'm not expecting too much out of him other than depth or potentially being average, to be honest, but what a great start so far.

I agree with you though, Mike Devlin is not a great OL coach

We really missed out when Munchak chose Pittsburgh

Also BOBs idea of every OL player needing to be as versatile as possible is stupid. Case in point is Martinas Rankin, he should never be playing Tackle in the NFL. Put him at Guard and he’ll look awesome. I just don’t get it.
