Playing Syndicate. So refreshing to have the Frye twins, really great character in these two. Jacob is hilarious and Evie is smart. Also love that this is in London. I was born there and so even if this is the Victorian era it makes me feel a little emotional.

I DID like Shay Cormac. He should have had an appearance in Unity because of Rogue's ending. Unity's France was amazing and there were a ton of great missions, but the story was pretty depressing and lackluster. Rogue's was 10x better. Unity went off course and focused for too long (pretty much the second half of the game..) on finding one person. I did like the beautiful rewards from finishing the story though. The sword and the outfit look incredible.

I also like the customization and RPG elements in Unity a LOT (the disguise skill saved me multiple times), so I'm glad that's brought over in Syndicate. I'm going to be spending a long time on Jacob and Evie's outfits like I did with Arno's.

Oh and the modern day story picks up in Syndicate. Berg and de Costa from Rogue are in this. So I'm glad to see them come back, as much as I don't like them, haha.

 

Just beat Gone Home after a couple of hours. Lol at there being a trophy for beating the game in under a minute.

 

That Trophy is a bit frustrating but not too terrible if you know where to go

 

My sister is like this. Drives me fucking crazy. I've also just never understood people who have a vested interest in what system other people are playing games on.

 

I already know how to do it, imagine stumbling upon that on your first playthrough haha

I really liked the game though.

 

South Park: The Stick of Truth might be the first time a video game made me laugh, other than from human error.

 

The Borderlands and Saints Row series make me laugh... I don't think you'd like those.

 

Representing Canada as an 8-bit RPG is truly inspired.

GameStop does a layaway plan with a new console. You just have to put $50 down to start it.

 

So tomorrow I'm heading off to buy my Ps4. If any of you want to leave your Ps4 tags I'd love to have people to play with (ill mostly be playing Dark Souls 3 and Overwatch tbh).

Enjoying mirror's edge catalyst so far. I like the side missions, open world, and these characters are more memorable. I definitely like the additions in melee combat, esp with all the combos. and the game gives you things to work toward by having a progression system to unlock skills. I'll get into it more later but while it isn't OMG i think it's a step up from the previous game and not terrible at all. That said I also picked it up for only $20 thanks to trade ins so if it's on sale I'd recommend it. As for runner's vision, you have the option to change it to the way the first game was or to turn it off completely.
