It is a fun town. I need to go back and at least visit once more if anything.

 

Yeah it's a cool city. Not where I'd wanna settle down or anything but it's been good for the last couple years.

 

Which one of y'all live in/near NoDa? That's the area I hung out in.

 

I'll be moving to Denver or California as soon as I finish school

 

I'm in Elizabeth. I guessed Tyler is east of downtown for literally no reason at all. Felt right.

 

Last time I was in LA I was staying five miles maybe from dodger stadium and took a Lyft to the game, took 35 minutes to get there.

 

I'd probably settle down in Washington once my kids are 18+

 

It's funny living in DFW because when discussing distance between places it's like 20, 30, or 50 miles away. Like, Dustin is about 45 miles from me.

Elizabeth to NoDa is only 4 miles, hahahahaha

And I do drives like that plenty! My friends on the east side of Dallas will be like "Hey let's go eat here" and it's not a big deal at all to make the commute

 

Like it’s cool to visit and hang, I visited a bud out there and we drank at Venice beach all day and it was one of the better vacation days I’ve had.

But unless I’m making a decent amount of money I think the amount of people there would give me worse anxiety than I have now lol

I can't find a bar to drink free where I actually live but I sure can in fucking Los Angeles

 

Must be nice to be young, eyes wide with the prospect of moving across the country. Well wait until you get married, buy a house, and have a kid. Those days come crashing to an end rather quickly.

 

It sucks for me because I Uber even if I have one drink, so it's either expensive or I don't travel that far of a distance.

 

I was staying 3 miles from it last weekend and Uber took like 7 minutes to get there so that was your mistake

I should mention I live between LA/SF so it is a lot better for me because everything is cheaper compared to those two. It sucks though because everyone is realizing that so they move here instead which caused the prices to jack up like crazy.
