The one guy literally said to me that it comes down to a racist (Trump) or someone who is morally questionable (Clinton) so he's not voting but would prefer Trump wins. So I'm like whatever, bye.

 

Eh, I get that POV, but honestly I'd rather just know. I can disagree with someone for a million years and not have any real bearing on my relationship with them, but if they're secretly racist/sexist/etc, I'd rather just have it out in the open and know when to cut my losses.

 

I just think shouting out who we would vote for is a lot less important than sharing actual views (which in a way is saying that I agree with you and would like to know those things as well). Having to staple our views behind a candidate makes it seem as if we're just all blindly following and I'd like to just discuss the issues themselves more than each candidate's platform and be able to be private about what candidate we actually choose, but still have productive conversation because we're not just playing attack-and-defend with which figurehead we want.

If that makes sense at all. I'm tired and really it doesn't matter, I'm just so surprised that it didn't end up being the case, especially since my parents who always said that have no problem plastering their choices on Facebook now haha.

 

I also don't think that would ever happen though, it'll all stay the same haha and that's okay

 

Oh, yeah. I definitely agree about that. I don't really care what someone's views are on how good of a person candidate A, B, or C, is. But when someone comes to play devil's advocate for Trump supporters it's pretty telling about them and their own views lol

 

My sis has been posting anti trump articles on fb but is now considering voting him which I think is weird

My mom used to be worried I'd turned out conservative cause I got mad at her when I was a kid and she didn't vote for Bush lol. All the other kids said their parents were voting bush and I threw a fit that she wasn't lol! She's lucky I didn't turn out conservative tho like ok mom that's the risk u take uprooting the fam to rural oregon!

My mom wasn't able to vote until this past year so I'm like, "you gonna register?"

She's like, "nah."

 

I just realized I have a doctor's appointment in 6.5 hours and I'm not even remotely tired.

 

My dad just registered recently and I'm so proud. me and my stepmom have been nagging him for years. I have not the slightest clue who he votes for tho

My parents are both voting Trump. It makes me very sad. I bet there are going to be a lot of people not voting in November.

 

My step-dad's voting for Trump which is disappointing. My mom voted for Bernie in the primary, will probably vote for Hillary.

 

My dad is going to visit his brother and people watch at the RNC.

 

I think my parents might not vote they really dislike Hillary

 

The little boy next door to me came out of his house this morning with a Make America Great Again hat on. Ironically enough, FDT by YG came on when I connected my phone

Almost everyone I talk to irl hates hillary and trump. I'm trying to push my "this is why a 2 party system sucks!" Agenda on them but I'm pretty sure they all just think I'm the weirdo

 

I don't hang out with as many white folks as the rest of you, so I don't personally know anyone voting Trump.
