if for nothing else, Brand New will forever be remembered as giving us literally hundreds of away messages.

 

mxpx gave me most of my away messages in high school.

 

My new username is a Grateful Dead song bc of course it is

I've also used it on steam forever and I like it

 

I think The Ataris may have been my most "away messaged" band in high school.

 

my first AIM screen name was lilscotty1116, because I was 11 at the time, and my soccer number was 16. and lil scotty because of course.

 

I only used AIM during its death knells when I was in middle school. I don't remember many of my away messages but most of them were probably ADTR and the like

 

my first aim sn was usafwarthog because in 8th grade i was convinced i was going to join the air force and fly a-10 warthogs

SIlverstein have gotten kinda shockingly good, if you're into that style.

 

I work with teenagers. Every week I have a new reason to feel a thousand years old.

 

I remember using AIM when I was around 11 and I would go into singles and flirty chat rooms. lol

 

I also really like just clicking "follow thread" and being done with it. Instead of the like 5 clicks it takes on AP

 

My first IM name was moss2887. I also had a Vikings jersey.

 

i'm definitely guilty of portraying an 18 year old blond surfer from california in some of those chat rooms.

 

since it was actually brought up in the lgbt thread on ap. should there be a general lgbt+ thread, or just stick with the thread in politics?

 

Pretty sure The All-American Rejects made their way into the most away messages for me. That band is still super underrated.
