The ep with Hank's death gave me the feeling I got watching the entire last 3 seasons of The Shield, something few shows can do for me. So intense.

I'd say it's probably up there with in the top 5 eps of this show for sure.

 

All 3 big acts of Ozymandias are impossibly more crushing than the last. It is the perfect marriage of phenomenal, Greek tragedy storytelling and acting. I remember being in the biggest funk ever after that episode aired and I couldn't think straight.

 

Just finished my rewatch, all I have to say is Jesse killing Todd is one of the most satisfying murders i've ever watched personally. Felt so good watching him do it haha.

 

Yeah, largely because it comes off one of the most emotionally devastating murders you could ever watch. Aaron Paul's performance in the Andrea death scene is heart-wrenching.

 

Breaking Bad cast reunion, hour long EW episode

 

Finally got around to watching that reunion today. Great watch.

Edit: whoops, apparently that video is like 3 months old lol. I thought it was a new thing.

 

Started my rewatch this weekend, and this Skyler speech from S02E01 stood out to me (when she's talking with Hank about Marie's shoplifting):

I'm kinda ok with it. The way Jesse is handled in the last few eps of BB always rubbed me the wrong way. He was basically the heart of the show and he doesn't get a satisfying ending.

 

Wow! I mean Gilligan has my full trust in anything these days. I'm for it.

 

Just remember.... Saul was supposed to be a half hour comedy show, whatever this is could be anything

Definitely looking forward to this. Gilligan hasn't done me wrong yet. If anything, while Bcs may not be my personal favorite of the two, it sure as hell seems to be even better executed than Breaking Bad. I have total faith in this.
