The Invitation was promising, but it definitely had a amateurish vibe to it.

Even when it wasn’t funny I kind of loved Adam Sandler’s special. It was probably all based on nostalgic feelings but it made me genuinely smile all the way through.

I'm late to the game on the haunting of hill house or whatever but I can't stop watching when I should be sleeping. And I live alone and it's 12:30am so idk my life choices currently but this screams of something that won't freak me out while awake but will make sleeping unfun.

I've been watching Hill House followed by Sabrina, because teen drama with a little Satanism is a better note to go to bed on

  7. My friend said Sabrina's more of a drama than the original, which I hadn't watched, so, I guess I should add it to my infinitely long and perpetually growing list of things to watch?

3-Month Update. This is STILL happening on and off. Mostly on. On two different Samsung Smart TVs. I hardly get the 'Netflix has encountered an error' screen anymore, which is better than before. I'm mostly able to get to the log-in, then I log-in and I can browse and start something, but then the streaming is such poor quality and it buffers like crazy. OR, rarely, it'll work perfectly fine. This has to be an Internet issue (I called back in August and they told me everything is fine on their end).

So I used AT&T's online chat system just now (which is ALWAYS so much better than calling) and the dude told me that our bandwidth was super low and that he increased it and it shouldn't be a problem anymore. I won't find out if it works until I'm home from work...but uh, how does bandwidth just decrease by itself? And why couldn't they detect that when I called back in August? And why does the rest of my internet seem fine (videos on computer/phone come through fine in our house)?

I have a feeling the issue will not be resolved in my house.

Needless to say, this has been ruining my life for the past three months.

Whilst it's not a smart TV, my Netflix recently has been dimming and then brightening and it's really weirding me out. It's on the downstairs TV and i haven't changed that in about a year or 2. It's not the settings because it seems to only do this with Netflix which is weird.

I'm glad I have some Chromecasts kicking around. If I ever have issues with my smart TV apps I'll just cast something instead. I just prefer to use my smart TV apps because I don't have a UHD Chromecast

So far, so good...on both TVs...hard to tell though because sometimes it works anyway so not getting my hopes up.

  12. Ooh, Robin Wright as President in House of Cards? I'd be down to watching that. How much of the series is Kevin Spacey NOT in? Wouldn't mind skipping a few seasons; I'd finished S2 before shit went down.

And I had no idea Patricia Clarkson was on there too. Might be worth watching this last season just to see her.

Someone give me a Netflix original to watch. I’ve seen/caught up on:
American Vandal, Bojack Horseman, Maniac, The Haunting of Hill House, The Dragon Prince, The Standups, Hilda, Disenchantment, Stranger Things, Big Mouth, Making a Murderer (just season 1 so far), Daredevil (seasons 1 and 2), Jessica Jones (season 1), Dark, The Toys The Mase Us, Master of None, and I’m about halfway through Sabrina now.
Ozark and Mindhunter might be next. Am I missing anything else?

  23. It’s fantastic! But, it might take a few episodes to hook you in. It’s wild and exposition heavy for the first 2/3 episodes. Episode 4 completely sold me.

I looked it up and it sounds good. It might be a watch-with-girlfriend show haha. She loves historical stuff.
