I like Home way more than I like Goodness, but I'm not emotionally attached to a single song they've written.

"Your Deep Rest" is definitely my favoite song off that album, it's pretty sad thouuuu. I just don't "get" Goodness, and I don't think the mixing/production is pleasing either

 

@Garrett L. you influenced me to listen to Wildlife and all was good until "January 19th" on I See Everything. Fuck.

 

It's like an audio punch in the face, that moment. Second favorite song on the album, so I guess I like being punched in the face.

Understandable. I like how the narrative of Edward Benz and I See Everything blend into the narrative of All Our Bruised Bodies (my favorite song). One of my favorite lyrical touches.

It's been a long time since I've had a good cry. A few tears here and there certainly. But a solid sob? Probably summer '13.

 

I had a slight cry fest for a good 30 min last night. But I swear, the Zoloft only lets it happen like once a month and for no more than 30 minutes. Thank god. I don't miss being a blubbering idiot all the damn time.

 

I don't cry at sad songs our movies really because I'm a monster, sometimes the weirdest music makes me emotional though like Firework by Katy Perry

 

Happy music makes me sad

 

Ellie Goulding's "I Need Your Love" is probably the happiest song that's ever made me cry. Depression is weird.

 

My therapist encourages crying.
