"Swiss Army Romance," "Shade.." & "So Impossible" have been off for like a year at this point

Pentimento deserved better

 

I, No Longer is one of those albums that will always stay in my collection

 

me after seeing chris tweet about pentimento’s cover

 

Why is the cover being discussed now? Did I miss something?

 

I’m confused. Is this a bad thing/ bad person? I liked it but I have no clue who that is.

 

Chris tweeted a link to it today. This was news to me. Never seen or heard it before.

Pentimento is made up of some of the best people in the world and it’s just super cool that Chris heard their cover.

 

This cover is cool, Pentimento is the best, now can we get the first couple Dashboard albums back on Spotify?

 

Didn't even realize they put out a new video last week

 

I watched it yesterday and noticed no one had mentioned it. Weird video but a great track I’d forgotten about.

Unfortunately this album did not hold up well for me. I appreciate the attempt with it, but aside from a few songs i think this is DC’s worse album.

 

Yeah I revisited this recently and the only songs that hold up are We Fight, Heart Beat Here and Just What to Say.

 

I'm in the minority I guess, but I still really dig this record. I don't think it's as 'important' as most of their other records for me, but it's a solid group of songs. "About Us" is still my favorite.

I'd at least put this above "Shade.."

 

And i'm one of those few people who adore the shit out of "Shade" haha.

Theres a little something for everyone with this band!

 

You’re not alone!! Little bombs is a top 10 DC song for sure

 

I love “Where There’s Gold”, “Thick as Thieves”, “Fever Dreams” and “Little Bombs”. Never got the hate for “Shade..”, personally. New album is by far my least favourite, don’t revisit it at all which makes me sad. I am glad that Chris is doing Dashboard again though. Would love another “Dusk & Summer” or “Alter the Ending”.

 

I still think half of Shadows is great and the other half I often skip. It’s weird to have it be that drastic, but that sort of where I am with this album.
