Maybe we're actually going to go with a Shane vs D-Bry thing. I dont hate Mcmahon involvement as much as most people so that sounds reasonably entertaining for a few months feud.

 

Its probably just for Survivor Series since the only things announced so far are basically Clash of Champions matches.

 

Its the one time of the year where Raw and Smackdown go head to head, what did you expect? Fantasy warfare come to life?

 

I mean, we actually know Dean drew better than Roman on tours a couple of years back. If you dont let anyone but Brock main event, then yeah, everyone is "unproven".

Brock as champ is also responsible for the worst RAW ratings in history.

 

Eh I dont think any specific wrestler, especially in this era, truly has an impact on ratings. That "worst ratings ever' headline from a few weeks ago is a bit misleading. Was it the worst? Yes, but it was only slightly down from the average rating we've seen for 3 years now. TV ratings are stagnant (except for the few outliers).

Now if you want to argue that nothing the WWE has done in the past 3 years has caused a boom or a ratings increase? That I agree. That includes Lesnar too of course. Reigns also obviously.

RAW when Brock + Rousey showed up prior to Summerslam, 2.91 million viewers. RAW 8 days after Summerslam, with no Brock, 2.88 million viewers (only thing guaranteed on the show for certain was the Shield).

Reforming the Shield drew as much as Brock did. There are more current story lines that would work. I wont deny that Brock pops ratings (though its less now than a year ago), but, if you're only stunt is to use him every 2 months, then you're killing yourself 90% of the time. And nobody can become the new "Brock" while he's champ.

 

NXT Miami was so much fun. Black/War Raiders vs. UE and Ciampa vs. Velveteen Dream were great.

 

Not that it really matters, but I don't think this is true. The "record low" ratings happened multiple times over the past 2 months since Reigns won the belt.

 

Just make Rollins the face of the company already. How many times does he have to proof every1 luvs him?
