Got a shiny Gengar but somehow no Pinsir yet, I've clicked a ton of them though

 

sixteen Gengar, only one shiny and it was the very last one lol. and a shiny Pinsir.

 

Can't find a single "catch 5 bug type" for the life of me, seriously spun 50+ stops today

 

I did over 20 Gengar raids before I got a shiny, at 4:58. Also got a Pinsir.

 

I see everyone posting that they have 10 shiny Pinsirs, and I'm here clicking every single one of them and have none...

Also, apparently I have a shiny Natu. May have posted that in here before when I first got it but I completely forgot I even had one

 

did 7 raids in my brief 90 minutes or so of gengar day, 1 shiny, plus a shiny pinsir and a new spinda task

Didn’t get any shinys during Halloween event and the first two Pinsirs I click on are shinys. I’ll never understand shiny rates lol

 

Posting to sub to this thread. My most prized shiny is my arcanine and I found it while being bored and opening the app during a baby shower. It makes me wonder how many shinys I’ve actually missed by not having the app always open.

Oh. my. gosh. I have a local facebook group that people post stuff on, this morning I asked if anyone had seen a "catch 5 bug type" today and hadn't seen any responses all day. Fast forward to tonight, just got home from a concert at 11:45ish.I see that someone responded to the post with a stop that had the task, realized it was 10 minutes until the tasks changed and decided to go for it. RAN to my car, went straight to that pokestop since I recognized where it was... and I spun it at 11:58!!! I got a Nincada wahooo

 

Last night a guy posted that he got the catch 5 bug types quest, so I went there but had to search since I didn't know which stop it was exactly. I ended up finding a Spinda quest along with the Nincada quest I was looking for.

 

84% shiny Pinsir not bad

 

I've gotten 4 out of 8 Spinda types. Didn't have much luck with Gengar raids, no shiny out of 11 and nothing above 91%. I was pretty bummed, but this morning I got 2 shiny Pinsir back to back so that was somewhat making up for it.

Also I had no idea Nincada was released as well.

 

Got three shiny Pinsir today. These things are everywhere.

 

ended up with 2 yesterday, we'll see if I get any more today!
