Holy Roar has really good distribution here in the states by partnering with Deathwish who also has a near perfect catalogue.

Just been getting into Mol and I'm super embarrassed it took me this long. Also hell yeah Rolo Tomassi!

Also I guess While She Sleeps joined the BMTH/Underoath club and made a radio-friendly new song.

Like it's not the worst thing ever but it just feels... disjointed. Like they could've done this kind of thing and actually killed it, but this kind of sounds like the latest Stray From The Path releases mixed with Fever-era Bullet For My Valentine.

It's not Brainwashed, and it's not even You Are We, I can say that much...

My best friend's girlfriend is a Psych major and also did a similar experiment last spring. She used Trash Talk and some other artist to compare and contrast differences in emotional responses from like 20 different people or something along those lines.

New Slipknot sounds like something off Iowa, always a good thing in my book.

  17. It reminds me of Vol.3 instead of Iowa. I'm into it.

It sounds like a somewhat better and heavier 0.5, not Iowa to me

Had a listen and yeah, I feel more Vol. 3 than Iowa. Still pretty good and better than anything Slipknot released on the last two albums combined. This might actually be a Slipknot album I'll enjoy for the first time in years...

I don't think this song could hold a candle to the best on AHIG. that's actually a pretty dope record. Gematria is such an insane song

Ehhh I dunno, I hated it when it came out and I've hated it every time I've tried to give it a go again. To me, Slipknot is all about the self-titled and Iowa, and about 75% of Vol. 3.

But hey each to their own. I'm apparently one of the only people that doesn't think Machine Head's The Blackening has aged very well...

All Hope Is Gone has some gems like the title track, Psychosocial, Sulfur and Snuff (which, idgaf, that track is a fucking tear-jerker) but the rest was fairly forgettable in comparison to the other albums.

Honestly I couldn't appreciate a single song. Maybe it's because I'd already dove pretty deep into more extreme stuff by that point but I was just not at all sold.
