I started today down 24 with Brady and Gronk left to go for me. PPR and QB gets 6 for a TD...figured it’d be a lock.

Welp....should have just kept Gronk on the bench and rolled with Chris Carson like I was originally going to do. Sigh.

 

Fucking Njoku. I had the 2nd highest point total of the week and lost to the highest scorer by less than 2 points despite Njoku laying an egg.

If he had had ONE catch for like 15 yards, I would have won.

 

There’s now 5 teams in my league who are 5-3. Im just sitting on the door step in 7th place at 4-4.

 

With Winston sucking, that leaves me with Stafford at QB. Should I pick up Carr when I drop Winston ?

 

I’ve won 5 straight. Was able to overcome leaving Boyd on the bench, just 18 points combined from Brady/Gronk and Gurley taking a knee instead of a TD this week.

 

I’ve been killing it in all three of my espn leagues but my NFL league? Yeah I’m so bad that I just want to drop every player.

 

Thought I had this week in the bag when I saw my opponents starting wrs were Fitzgerald, Watkins and Gordon...man was I wrong!

 

Who should I drop Winston for ? Flacco, Smith, Carr or Fitzpatrick ?

I have Herndon in my league with Ertz. He has been scoring TDs and the Dolphins have been giving up TDs to TEs recently. Also, hes a Miami kid and the game is in Miami. Might just roll with him.

 

Yeah that's probably the way to go rather than just picking up a rando and banking on something to happen.

 

Gronk has to be a top 3 bust thus far this season, right? Given where he was taken in most leagues. I would have to think Dalvin Cook would be up there as well, and obviously Le'Veon Bell, but if you drafted Bell, that's kind of on you because you knew he was holding out. Probably throw in Fournette and Freeman in the mix too.

Can't believe I drafted Gronk in the second round and Freeman in the third round and I'm 6-2.

 

Really hoping this bye week serves Arizona well and they come out the second half with DJ running wild

 

I need a Week 10 QB: Fitzmagic vs WAS, Dak @ PHI, or Alex Smith @ TB?

 

Whats the consensus on Gronk being such a dud so far?

My TEs are Rudolph and Engram. Should I try to acquire Gronk or just roll with what I got?

 

Prioritize Barber or Ekeler on waivers?

When you draft someone in the second round, you hope they score double digits at least twice...dude has been awful since Week 1 (17.3 fantasy points in Week 1). His other scores? 1.5, 5.1, 4.4, 7.5, 9.7 (racked up at least 5 of those points in last two minutes of a game), 0 (sat out the week) and 4.3.

He's been completely unreliable. It seems that Brady doesn't even look for him at all throughout the games. Like he's on the field as a diversion and that's it.

I'm totally against having two tight ends on a roster, but I picked up OJ Howard the week Gronk was injured and haven't dropped him yet because I'm considering on sitting Gronk from here on out.
