Super late on this, but everything I think I want in a movie is:

- Shoot outs shot and directed by John Woo (doves, sparkles, diving and double pistols all need to be there)

- A lot of Comedy for sure and probably needs to include Danny McBride

- Tom Cruise running

- Kung Fu scenes on par with the 2 Raid movies

- Over the top violence, along the lines of Kick Ass and the ending to any Tarantino movie

- a Jay and Silent Bob cameo

- a Lonely Island cameo

- Score: Half Metallica and half epic Hans Zimmer

- Preferred Cast: Denzel Washington, Kevin Costner, Leo Dicaprio, Amy Adams, Edward Norton, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Adam Driver, Michael Shannon, Will Smith, Chris Hemsworth, The Rock, Sterling K. Brown, Russell Crowe, Jeremy Irons, Hugh Jackman, Salma Hayek and of course Nick Cage.


I don't know what it would be about, but don't care. Someone make this happen.

 

I would watch a buddy cop movie starring Nicholas cage and Samuel L. Jackson.

 

Would it be too different than Hitman's Body guard though?

I'm still waiting for the Twin's sequel with Arnie and Divito returning and Eddy Murphy being the Triplet.

How did I last this long without The Cure in my life? I finally understand where some of Blink 182/+44 or AFI's sound come from inspiration wise. Disintegration blew me away. This is such an immersive album that takes you on a journey. Another album that stood out, this time in an unique way, is The Top. Its weirdness is part of its charm, though it is quite a departure from their usual styles. I'll listen to their 90's albums tomorrow.

I strongly recommend Curve. The way they mixed dark alt rock with shoegaze and dream-pop this early makes me suppose that they were ahead of their time. Their music sounds timeless.

Killing Joke is a band that I had on my backlog for years, and I'm happy to actually give them a listen. I'm only familiar with a few of their 2010's songs, so I'm ready to hear how they go from a post-punk, part time synthpop and altrock, to a full blown dance-y industrial metal band. An evolution of this kind is fascinating to witness as a new fan.
