ya know.... it could leak well before its actual release date, if it's 100% finished, mastered, and everything.

on one hand, that would rule for us! but on the other hand, that'd really suck for the band.

 

Nah. Most of the bands we love don’t get shit from albums anyways. I’ll always wait now.

Ace said at the show last Friday that the album is done but was pushed back until Spring 2019, likely April. They're using the time to add some more songs to it. If anyone wants to update the thread title.

Yeah, as long as they don’t feel tacked on or are less developed/filler, then I’m def more okay with the delay.

the 'fifteen years' acoustic version of call off the bells came on google music on my way home today

 

I didn't know this album existed......I know what I'm listening to today!!

 

New version of "Outside" is so awesome.

 

I was spinning Fifteen Years on the way to work this morning. Really great acoustic album.

 

Looks like they’re recording more songs today. There’s a clip of Jeff tracking drums and Ace playing guitar (the chord progression he’s playing is absolutely wonderful).

 

If we end up with a double album... i wouldn’t be mad

 

So a May/June release date for this? That’s so far away!

I can wait tho, there’s going to be no shortage of music to look listen and forward to from now until then.

 

The Facebook post above (which I just now saw for the first time) that says “it will arrive with the flowers it’s named for”, which is basically mid-May through mid-June.

 

Ahhhh gotcha. Didn’t catch that. I have faith in them and think it’ll be better for it though. It not coming out this fall was definitely one of my biggest musical disappointments of the year.

 

Oh, I’d definitely prefer they take their time and release something they’re happy with, I’m just being impatient and selfish.

 

I feel you, Imbue feels like it came out forever ago now.
