yeah I get it and it makes scheduling difficult so as a manager you pretty much just have to give up on trying to make everybody happy and do whatever.

mainly since he and his girlfriend there I would see if there's a chance they could get their schedules aligned so they can spend at least one of the holidays off together.

you also hate xmas and spending time with your family so ...

 

I love spending time with my family. I’m not much a fan of Christmas.

Equal probably isn’t the right term. Yes, Christmas often affords the opportunity to spend time with family as it an excuse to all get together. However, I would prefer if we could just spend time together and not have it be Christmas related.

My wife’s family does this every year. They roped me into it when we first started dating and I always felt bad for the workers there. I didn’t dare order any food.

also people go to the movies on thanksgiving or xmas because those are days where they all have time off to do something like that.
