They were pretty tight lipped about the specifics of the Eason injury, but I was definitely all for putting him back in when he was ready, and I think it was earlier than they let on. Fromm was basically game managing, not blowing the games, and riding Chubb and Michel to wins over bad teams (and Notre Dame) while Eason was out. If they thought they would have gotten more than that from Eason, you would think they’d have to put him back in, so I thought it spoke volumes when they didn’t.

All of that to say, I hope Eason is good and am rooting for him with UW but I’m not sold on him being an elite draft prospect
