The Giants have the picks to trade for Carr, that makes ton of sense. But in reality sense and the Giants don't mix.

 

Herbert is planning on staying another year apparently. Even then I'm not sold on him as an immediate starter.

Carr isn't great but he's good. Having that WR corps and running game will help him big time.

 

Carr and Dak seem to be on the same level and trajectory, which sucks for me, but Dak at least has his rushing and his health and is being paid pennies.

Very curious to see if he and Cooper mesh well.

Hes 62% and 6.6 YPA for his career. That isn't anything special.

 

Better hope Cooper doesn't have those butter fingers anymore.

Nick Foles won the Super Bowl with a SIGNIFICANTLY worse offense than Barkley-OBJ-Shephard-Engram. Average will get the job done in NY.

 

Yeah, absolutely. I'm hoping that it was more on Carr throwing ducks than Cooper being shitty at catching, because we're used to that here.

All 4 of Dak's interceptions this year bounced off his receiver's hands. They weren't the best passes in the world or anything, but if it hits you in the hands you should catch it. That's just me though.

 

Most QBs can't even dream up an offense with as many playmakers as the Giants.

 

Those stats aren't bad though. They're just average.

His talent is worth a trade, but not his contract.

 

Way too early to say about this year’s draft class. We made it out of a draft class that was supposedly so bad that people had to talk themselves into Mitch Trubisky being a top 2 pick with 2 of the brightest young stars at QB as mid-first round picks

 

One of my top five wishes in life is that Dustin can somehow end up being brought up on an ESPN live show and in the middle of the show they start talking about how next year's QB class is better.

 

Do you think he goes 13-3 with that significantly worse offense though? Because that affects whether or not he wins the Super Bowl with that offense.

The Nick Foles comparison is not a very good one unless you factor in how the actual season went with him at the helm. Football is a game of inches and those inches could've easily gone the other way in a small sample size.

 

To be fair, Mahomes and Watson were both great. The concern was scheme adjustment. That is not the concern with this class haha.
