This has been covered extensively I’m sure, but Walking Downtown is the only Copeland song I don’t like.

  2. Coffee is the only song I like on that record really

I know no one’s gonna agree with me here but Walking Downtown isn’t even the worst song on that album. The only song I consider a career highlight on that record is Coffee, maybe California but even then I like that song less as time goes on.

I’m of the opinion that BMT has no bad songs.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

always found Priceless way too syrupy and clunky as well as Walking Downtown being... what it is

the rest of the album is phenomenal, When Finally Set Free is still one of the band's best songs

Yes please, can we get some When Finally Set Free love up in here???

Also, all the slow songs on BMT get the most attention, but Take Care is low key the best song on that album. She Changes Your Mind doesn’t get enough love either.

When Finally Set Free is amazing and When Paula Sparks is still a top three Copeland song for me (if I can even narrow it down to three). I think it is easy to forget how good that album is. It's a good problem to have that a band has such great albums, BMT would be a lot of other bands top album. Sounds like we might need to do a Copeland bracket, but that would be so agonizing

I'm at the point now that whenever this is bumped I'm hoping for an announcement.

Copeland just has one of the most consistent discographies I know. Like, I don’t refer to them as my “favorite band” like I do with Anberlin and mewithoutYou, but I’d put their weakest album above the two weakest albums by those bands. Everything they’ve done is at least great.

Real talk. Does anyone else read posts like these and low key think to themselves, "I'm going to die soon"? Just me? K.

I'm listening to it on Spotify, saw the date and thought "that can't be right, I was just getting out of college when it came out and oh god time is fleeting is that another grey hair time to start my obituary."

I'm going to have to write a song about the passing of time and existential dread. I'll call it "YAMS Turns 10 and I'm Turning 100".

The first time I saw Copeland live was right after YAMS came out. Great show with Lights and Lydia. Crazy it's been a decade
