My sister used to use team viewer when we were in high school to access her computer at home and basically bypass all of the parental controls (or I guess administrative controls) on the computers at school to use her email, facebook, etc. I don't think I've ever heard of anybody else using it (I also don't know many people in general who work in the computer/technology field though.)

I used to use TeamViewer at my last job to do everything from the office rather than go upstairs cause I was too lazy. It was honestly so great

team viewer and remote desktop is amazing and it's so underutilized its very sad. I don't think I'd have a desktop anymore if I couldn't use team viewer.

I use it on my team viewer on my phone at least every other day. my wife will text me to download some kids movie/show and I'll have it ready for them in a few minutes. I love it.

also when viggle was still an usable app I was using it to check my automation throughout the day because my home computers were set to "viggle" 24/7 making me over $40 per day in gift cards. haha.

the point I was trying to make earlier was that I am currently so lazy that team viewer isn't helping solve my laziness.

Facebook wasn't even thing yet when I was in high school. We had dial up AOL and AIM. Myspace became a thing I think end of high school for me.

    Yikes.

This is the kind of content in this thread I can get behind. I wish they'd stop trying to make this band of goobers a thing.

I didn't make a facebook until I was a junior and I was last out of my friends to get one. I know we had xanga when we were in middle school though.
TANGENT: My mom freaked out when she found our xanga accounts and made us go to an internet safety seminar. I definitely deleted my xanga and myspace after that and only used fake names and info when I would create emails or whatever because I was so paranoid about my info being online.

While I’m not a fan of a large portion of their fan base touting things like, “now this is rock n roll!!!” and “GVF are sing handedly reviving rock!!” and other hyperbolic statements like that, it’s not like they aren’t talented. Yeah, they’re derivative, but they’re still pretty young. I’m not into their music one bit but they’re talented kids and hopefully they’ll find their voice.

I used to be able to find a TON of embarrassing things about myself on google but then a soccer player or some shit got popular with my name

Oh, I'm not decrying their talent at all. They've got some good chops. I'm just shooting them in a typical hyperbolic elitist fashion because it's a slow workday for me and their current outpout...isn't my thing and let's just leave it at that. :)

I've had to kind of get over it because there's almost no way to live without having personal data everywhere.

Just use this stuff instead of salt/flavocol

Pretty good. Probably should have used a little more of it than I did.
