I guess I don't really understand what more people wanted from this song. Sounds like how they described it during the media blitz when BTD premiered.

 

Can't say this or Bored To Death impressed me much on the first couple of listens, but I'm willing to keep trying.

 

lyric videos in general are god-awful. i think i've only seen maybe 2 or 3 that were actually interesting. haha it's just more or less a karaoke monitor.

I like it more the more I listen to it but not as much as btd

 

I LOVE the bass riff during the first verse and that they have the guitar do it during the start of the second riff, these little things are so much fun. I can see why the band would say this would fit on Enema but it wouldn't actually work on that album.

Someone earlier said that it reminds them a bit of NFG, I think it's because the drums during the chorus are identical to the drums in My Friends Over You. I think.

 

So Rabbit Hole is Travis's favorite song on the record?

 

My only real dislike is the outro...two songs of Matt yodeling during the exit, blech.

 

The way the song ends after that last chorus immediately made me think of NFG. The way the drums slow down and the gang vocals kick in.

Love the transition at the very end as well.

 

I hate how when they finish a chorus they feel the need to repeat one line over and over (and over and over and over) for about 20 seconds, do it all the time.

edit: yes and the "yodelling".

 

Couldn't even tell that was "gang vocals"...just sounds like Matt. I love gang vocals but more in the vein of how four year strong does it.

 

Fits the lyrics of the song.

 

I thought that was good as far as lyric videos go *shrugs* sounds way better than the radio stream too. I'll prob hold off on getting it til the album comes out. Looks like it's only on iTunes right now anyways, wasn't on Google or Amazon when I checked.

haha maybe for me, ya. I was never a big fan of "woahs" to begin with.

Gets better on repeated listens. Might actually take this one over BtD.
