I love that Joyce manor record

 

Swing and a miss. It's an okay song, but if this and BTD are what they are most proud of, I think this record will be forgettable for me. I'll still give it a spin when it's released though.

 

Enjoy this more than BTD. 2/2 in terms of real songs released. I'm indifferent on joke songs.

I realized this during "Bored to Death". I could hear the Feldmann influence in the chorus melody, but a lot of that is because i was reaaally listening for it.

 

Hearing the actual chorus improves the song incredibly

It's aight, I'm actually surprised but how much i enjoy Matt's parts more, just seems more lively on this song. But yeah, I may have to warm up to it just like Bored To Death.

The Apple Music version is much better than the radio stream. Already got the chorus embedded in my head. What a time to be a blink fan. (I really don't hear Goldfinger in this, Descendents I do and that's awesome, not that GF would be bad).

I dig it! My one apprehension about the new lineup was that it could sound like a Plus 44/Alkaline mash up. This song sounds nothing like either band. Pure 2016 Blink 182. Stoked for the rest of the album.

 

The end gives me a NFG vibe, but the rest is almost certainly influenced by Bill, Karl and Stephen's style of playing.

 

It makes me really happy that neither this nor BTD sound like +44. Really justifies them continuing the Blink name.
