I’m excited but it’s going to be chaos at work. Whenever an animated Disney movie comes out the entire theater gets trashed. Every single seat.

 

I know! It might be the first movie I take my oldest daughter to go see. She will have turned 3 and I’m trusting that she can keep herself entertained enough since she watches the first one in rapt attention almost daily.

 

What happens to the seats? Is it like what happened when Fifty Shades came out?

I don’t necessarily blame the kids but the parents just let them leave their mess there

 

yeah me neither, adults who get mad at kids are weird, like adults are just as messy and loud haha

 

Dude, I do not understand this at all. I feel like taking your kids to the movies is a good opportunity to teach them about cleaning up after yourselves, recycling etc. but I have literally had kids start cleaning up their trash only to have their parents tell them they don’t have to cause someone else will

 

Idk where I first heard it, but it is a thing that gets around. Same thing with ballparks. It’s just an agreement among patrons that, included in the price of a ticket, you also get to leave an immense amount of waste behind because there will be underpaid workers following behind you to clean your stuff.

For the record, I’m too anxious and hate thinking that I’m the reason that people have extra work to do, so I take the extra 10 seconds to pick up my trash at the movies or when I go to a stadium.

 

cleaning up is the right thing to do and also use your brains it streamlines the process, the less cleaning they have to do between the movies the easier it makes it for everyone

 

Like, I don’t expect it to be spotless and ushers are there for a reason, but to blatantly go out of your way to leave your mess for people to clean up and be okay with voicing that in front of those employees is so trashy to me

 

Yeah it’s crazy to me because the theater will be trashed and then people will lineup an hour before the movie starts (even on super slow days for some reason?) and they’ll get pissed that we can’t let them in the theater yet since we need to clean it. Then the cycle repeats.
