I'm stubborn as hell when it comes to hurricanes. I never leave for them. Just ride it out and hope for the best. We have a block home which makes all the difference.

It's about time gen 4 comes out because I haven't got the urge to go out to play for the last 2 weeks. I thought my raid group would be pretty active with Mewtwo, but it's pretty much dead right now.

 

I really thought people would be ALL over Mewtwo but I never see people at raids. I'm lucky I got the two I have. I think the whole "not being able to defend gyms with legendaries" is a deterrent from going out and getting a bunch, once you have one you at least have the Dex and can use it to fight in raids.

 

I know it's different because I'm in LA, but people are always all over all Mewtwo raids, yesterday even I went to a raid that a few people on Slack were going to, we ended up accidentally maxing out the raid at 20 people so some of us had to bail out of the first raid and start a second one to fit everyone

 

experiencing the same very surprising Mewtwo burnout in my area. people will raid anything with a shiny chance around here any chance they get but i thought Mewtwo would carry more appeal on its own without that. i’m still doing every one i can, the move sets are cool enough to keep me at it. i’m at 22 since he entered regular raids

 

A month is just too long for each raid rotation. Needs to be three weeks at most.

 

yeah we still have mewtwo for almost another 2 full weeks. never thought id say i want mewtwo to move on lol

 

my assumption is that Gen4 will coincide with mewtwo leaving so that Gen4 pokemon and Gen4 legendaries can enter raids

 

There are like 80 gen 4 legendaries

 

Giratina was teased in the Gen 4 teaser, so there is a distinct possibility we're getting Giratina for Hallowe'en. We have to go back to gen 3 at some point since there are shinies still to be released there plus I expect a Regi catch-up week at some point.

 

There should be some kind of priority for the first person who started a gym battle to place his Pokemon. I hate it when I'm beating a gym and then a random person arrives in the battle just when I'm beating the last one and then he puts his Pokemon faster than me and he turns out to be of the other team. Just happened a few minutes ago. It's frustrating, I'm the one who beat the whole damn gym.
It should be something like "after 1 or 2 battles, no other players can join until the gym is beaten or after 2 minutes of inactivity".

It's getting real cold in the midwest, so this game is sadly gonna be on hiatus for a while

 

I’m gonna be in Virginia for community day. We will see how that goes lol

 

Maybe the shiny luck there is a lot better lol

 

Hatched my last regional today and it was like my 7th Mime. Only got Kang once grrrrr

 

Got this bad boy with a "Evolve 3 Natu or Sunkern" quest I have been keeping for a month.

 

I rightfully took my place back right after.

 

My gripe about Mewtwo is solely that they took away his best possible movesets.

 

Yeah, I think there would be more interest in Mewtwo raids if it could still have Shadow Ball.

 

i’m not really worried about them being
optimal or whatever because there’s always like 10+ people raiding here but i just think it’s fun to have a Mewtwo with flamethrower

 

Finally got my Mime. 151/151.

 

And a shiny Natu. The poke gods are shining on me

 

I still need mewtwo so bad. :/

 

Seems to have been another wave of EX passes. I got one, can't invite anyone so hoping we have enough anyway.
