I seriously worry about my memory issues. My daughter was talking in detail about a specific episode of a show last night that we watched a couple months ago and she was talking about specific lines when I couldn't even remember what happened at all without being reminded

Plus I forget the plots to books and movies within months of seeing/reading them

I think my brain is broken

 

Write it all down! I worry about forgetting things all the time so I write them down. Though I also don't have memory issues so much as paranoia issues.

I have a great memory for information but no emotional memory

Like my therapist will be like describe a nice day or positive childhood memory and I blank but I remember high school French really well

 

I can't remember anything before the age of 6 at this point in my life. Some parts of High School I can't recall either.

 

I have the wooooooorst short term memory. Probably 2-3 times a day something will pop in my head and i'll get on my phone to look it up and by the time I even get to the google machine i've forgotten what I was going to look up

 

Never listened to her before. Listened to all of her albums last night. Listening to more now haha

 

I'm looking at WebMD and the most likely culprits are depression, anxiety, nutrition (B vitamin deficiency), and dementia. Which one???

 

I constantly go downstairs to do something then get distracted and forget to do it

 

I can't remember like anything from college or high school it's bad

 

I've been seeing a lot about bed bugs today. On reddit a lady thought her doctor boyfriend had been drugging her secretly because she was having bad memory and was finding weird blisters on her, she thought from syringes. Turns out she has brutal bed bugs in her mattress and that has been the cause of her memory loss. Wtf.

I'm going to rule out dementia until we reach at least 65 years old.

 

And apparently if you have a serious bed bug infestation you pretty much need to wipe out any wood furniture and couches out of your house because they are rekt forever.


Heres the thread it's rather interesting, she thinks it one thing and then someone asks about a stain in her mattress and problem solved.

it may just be paranoia but I was legit worried about that

 

I watched my grandfather forget everything about his life in a matter of 3 years due to his Dementia. I can't even imagine.

lmao this girl on facebook asked if people wash their meat before they eat it, and everyones like OF COURSE I DO, WHY WOULDN'T YOU. Then I posted like 3 articles on why it's a really bad thing to wash your meat.
