I saw Thugger right after Jeffery came out and he was great when he was actually performing. Unfortunately he would just dance around to other people's songs half his set. If the setlist looks good, and you also like Cole, it might be worth it but I decided to pass on this tour since Thug is just opening.

 

sheck wes album was pretty good. A few tracks I’m eh about but still overall worth a listen.

 

Thugger is so good live. When I saw him, he did some songs a cappella, including all the vocal experiments perfectly, and also threw some oldies from Barter 6 onto the setlist. He was a little late to the show but the show itself was fiiiiiire.

 

This was unexpected

 

God Lupe Fiasco is fucking incredible live. Saw him for the third time tonight and he just killed it for two hours straight

Listened to Black Star for the first time this am after a run. Never really been a huge fan of Mos Def. Obviously Talib is great, but I lovedddd it. The production is amazing. Can’t wait to listen again.

 

You’d probably like Black on Both sides too. Out of all their solo albums it’s the one that’s the most like Black Star.
