I have a feeling this is going to blow.

Shame because the band has talent I think fans just want them to be themselves and not genre hop to the latest trend going.

 

This is one of the most boring songs I've heard all year

 

So disappointed in this. Cavalier Youth was one of my favorite records for quite some time.

 

New song.

 

Album's out there. It's pretty bad imo... disappointing, thought I'd like this one after I really dug Cavalier Youth.

 

I enjoy the dirty, buzzy guitars but yeah.. I feel like it's not going to be particularly memorable. Doesn't help that the best songs on it were already released as singles. Night People, Plus One and Swear are easily my favourites.

 

They had a couple of songs on Hold Me Down I enjoyed but for the most part I find this band to be incredibly bland.

 

Likewise. I'll still jam Stay With Me anytime though.

 

This band went from great to dull. Not enjoyed anything they've done in years.

The demos and the first album are still gold though.

 

I finally listened to Night People and I actually like it. It's not very adventurous, but the songs are solid enough.

night people seemed like a pretty big shift in sound so this seems to be more of the same

 

The two new songs are better than almost all of the last album imo

 

Scratch that, better than all of their last album. Am I actually excited for an album by these guys again...?

If it ends up being an album tour I’ll def be there. Love that album.

 

probably only in the uk/ europe if it is a tour. i don’t have my hopes up

 

This band is really interesting in that I thought they were going to be really huge back in the day and now I hear almost nothing about them. Listening to VI now and it's pretty good. I haven't listened since Sinners Never Sleep, but I'm enjoying this.

 

Cavalier Youth had some solid songs, but Night People was pretty mediocre imo. What I’ve heard from this so far kind of seemed like Night People’s sound done better, but I’ll have to listen to the whole thing to judge.
