So, it looks like Gronk is going to play tonight. Playing Gronk at even 70% healthy is a better play than rolling our Austin Hooper at 100% right?

 

I'm 1-3 right now. My team is not great.

My WR depth and starters are non existent:

WR: Larry Fitzgerald
WR: Kenny Stills
WR: Marvin Jones Jr.
WR: Ryan Grant
WR: Taylor Gabriel

I keep trying to make trades and I no one will bite. It’s going to be a long year. Gronk is supposed to be my WR1, but that has not planned out thus far.

 

Try to package a RB/WR to get an upgrade at one of those positions. Maybe try targeting a player who's been slow out of the gate like ODB - package Breida/Golladay or something and see what happens. Or even try the same package to land someone like Joe Mixon who should come back strong this week, or even David Johnson who some people have been down on.

 

Gronk should be great with Edelman back. Teams were smothering him the last 3 games. I'd say hang onto him for the better days or flip him to a team for a TE like Burton/Rudolph/Engram (hurt for a few weeks but you can stream in the meantime) and a true wr1.

 

I’m definitely holding on to him. I’ve mostly been trying to flip one of my RB2 for a WR2 so I have someone solid and no one is taking th bait. I’m the commissioner and I think the league likes it when I don’t do well lol. It’s also a very competitive league.

I offered Breida for Funchess (which I think is actually a little more in favor of the person I’m trading for but I just want a WR2 because I know Gronk is gonna come around with the return of Edelman and as his health gets better.)

Sigh, looks like I’m not going to make the playoffs in my own league two years in a row sitting at 1-3...I’m trying to manufacture some wins in hopes of my team finally coming together (hence the reason I’m starting Ryan Grant this week, just hoping he will get me some points tonight since T.Y. Is out).

 

You've got a good RB group. Can't flip Conner to the Bell owner for a wr2? Surprised you're having trouble trading Breida for an RB2 as well. But if I were you, hang onto Breida, let him feast this week against ARI's terrible run defense. Then see if you can flip him.

And I'm with you, Grant is a solid play tonight.

 

A person in my league’s WR core is K. Cole, Ginn Jr, and Corey Davis with Mixon and Henry as his running backs. How the HELL do I have the same record as him.

 

That's a really bad team.

 

Yeah it is! We trade draft picks in this league since it’s a keeper and he traded away a 3rd and 5th last year (to go all in), while keeping Gronk in the 2nd. He also didn’t win last year, so it wasn’t worth it.

 

This guy in my league has Lynch, Thompson, Cook, Ingram, and Cohen and i've sent him like 5 different offers for any of my receivers for Cook and he just lets them sit and expire like you can't ever play all those dudes at once and your receivers are booty outside of Thielen WHY DOES EVERYONE IN THIS LEAGUE SUCK

 

It's just flat out ingnorant to be honest.

 

I got offered Freeman for my Calvin Ridley. My RBs are Mixon, Ajayi and Collins. Do I say no ?

 

Depends on your wr situation. You need help at RB though if thats all you have.

 

Who are your other receivers? Ridley has been balling out, he'll likely come down a little bit, but I would try and swing for the fences and sell high for a different RB

I have AJ Green and AB as well.

 

Its hard because we don't know how healthy Freeman really is. If he's 100%, he's gonna be a monster. With AJ/AB, I'd probably take the chance though. You def need another RB.

 

I'd try and sell high for any of the elite RB's, worst case scenario take the Freeman deal

 

Yeah maybe try to dangle Ridley for a better RB, but if not, Freeman would be good.

 

Depends what your WR depth is like.

Considering Collins could be dropping usage and the other 2 have been hurt, seems worthwhile. Especially as we're hitting byes. Freeman is an RB2 most weeks, that'd give you Mixon/Freeman/Ajayi as your RBs and Flex pretty solidly. If Ridley isnt an every week starter for you, than you're trading for a guy who would be

 

I also figure I possibly could flip Ajayi as well after I flip Ridley for Freeman.

 

I would try to package Ridley and Collins or Ajayi for a top tier RB

 

It's either Freeman or Hyde I'll go for.

Well the issue is nobody is willing to give up CMC, Barkley or Gordon I've already tried.

 

GRONK is gonna play it sounds like and I need him to as I have no extra space with holding Chicago on their bye
