10 seconds Macgruber!!!

 

MacGruber inspired me to start comedy

 

Still one of the hardest times I have ever laughed at a movie:

MacGruber: [begging for Piper to join team] Don't make me beg here, because I will do it. I am so sorry, I am so goddamn sorry! Look I'm freaking out here! I killed them! I killed them all! I'm so fucking stupid! I don't know what I'm doing and everybody hates me!

[long silence]

MacGruber: I will suck your dick, I will suck your fucking dick, just join my team. I'll suck your dick, you can fuck me, you can get fucked by me. You can watch me fuck something? Just point at something in the room and I'll fuck it for you! Just tell me what you want me to fuck!

Lt. Dixon Piper: Jesus Christ, MacGruber!

MacGruber: Just tell me what you want me to fuck!

 

I don't see any lube... Maybe some toner?

 

I'm not joking, in high school I had the regular MacGruber movie poster on my wall AND a 4ft by 6ft banner of the European cover on my wall as well.

 

I've never seen a MacGruber sketch. Guess I wasn't watching during that time

 

I wish they still had Best Of releases. Will Forte’s would have been amazing.

 

I've noticed they have a couple YouTube playlists by cast member, but IT AINT THE SAME

 

Oh I used to love those best ofs. Jimmy Fallon was far from my favorite cast member but I remember his SNL dvd being top notch. I also agree that a Forte one would be great

 

I forgot Forte played GWB after Ferrel left the show until I got Hulu and they had seasons from that era available to stream.

 

Yeah I still have a bunch of the best ofs. It's a shame that they stopped making them. Forte, Hader, Wiig, Sudekis, Armisen, and the Lonely Island definitely deserved them.

 

Probably because by 2010 DVD/BD became a dying format.

 

I would buy a DVD with every Lonely Island Digital Short in a fucking heartbeat

 

You would think there would still be some kind of market for best ofs, not necessarily dvds but for streaming platforms. They could also run them over the summer or occasionally during weeks off instead of always doing reruns.

 

Yeah, it’s weird. I think the last Best Of they did was Amy Poehler. You would think they would want their own definitive version of some of these, rather than just a YouTube playlist or playlist on the SNL app.

Wow being real tough on republicans

 

It would be funnier if it wasn't so damn accurate, loved bringing chuck in there just to show how awful he is

 

Fuck all of the people they were impersonating but that was pretty great

 

Missed the first couple minutes, bummed to hear it's apparently good

 

Blurred lines was a nice touch

 

That was a very sweet monologue.

Also the cold opening and monologue together were shorter tonight than last week's opening haha

 

Ok monologue, clearly wasn't going for anything big that's cool

 

Literally the only thing I've seen Awkwafina in is her small part in Neighbors 2 but she seems pretty charming
