I also had this thought but it would seem weird to have the Platinum legendary before the Diamond and Pearl ones, plus there are still gen 3 shiny legendaries to come, so I'm thinking we won't get Gen 4 raids until early next year.

I do think it's likely that Drifloon and Spiritomb will be released into the wild for Hallowe'en to match the gen 3 rollout (a quick Google suggests the appearance of Duskull and Shuppet was confirmed about two weeks from now a year ago).

I also suspect that, both as a way of rotating the eggs and promoting gen 4, the gen 4 babies will end up in the 7k eggs at some point.

 

My other Lucky is a Pidgeot so I feel this

I don't think they announce Unowns. When I went to SDCC they were just there with no announcement

 

I'd love to get Unowns for Comic Con here, but I know it'll never happen.

Hatched a shiny Togepi, so that’s pretty cool

 

When you hatch a shiny does it do the same shiny animation graphic at hatch time that it does when you encounter one in the wild? I'm so scared of accidentally transferring a shiny hatch.

 

To be honest I can't remember if it did or not. It hatched and I wasn't really paying attention until it go to the screen that showed him. But, it's pretty hard to transfer shiny's. Like legendary's you can't select shiny's when you are mass transferring. Also, it has those 3 little stars next to it. I wouldn't worry too much about it lol

 

Guess data miners just found a note in the game that says "Fall_2018" in reference to an event. So, it's pretty safe to assume at this point that gen 4 will start rolling out around Halloween. To be honest, I just wish they would go ahead and give us PvP.
