I was a cashier at a supermarket for 5 years and I never knew of this lmao. I wouldn't be surprised if they did sell them at mine, I just would have never thought to look or ask

 

yeah, one of my first jobs was at the customer service counter at Price Chopper. It was all people cashing checks, playing the lotto, or buying stamps lol

I mean with the lack of mailboxes these days, wouldn't it just be easier to go the post office anyway?

 

USPS sells stamps in every denomination you could think of online and they ship them to you.

 

I've been buying them at Safeway my entire life. Grab a book whenever I run out with groceries.

And then curse at how expensive they are.

I sent in an absentee ballot last year I thought I vaguely remember that it didn't need a stamp.

I do know it says "put a stamp on here dummy" in Oregon.

I get it gotta pay the postal workers but the two times I most hate putting stamps on are for voting and mailing my quarterly tax payments to the government. Like ... COME ON.

I use Microsoft Teams at work and with one coworker one third of the time it’s shit-talking about other coworkers

Rarely but I get a craving where I’d buy the thin cigars with the flavored tip and inhale in my mouth but never into my lungs and sometimes blow smoke out my nose... I do this when I’m drunk and it it’s sort of like a caffeine boost. Now I’m craving one now... but I always remember my hands smell like shit the next day.
