I remember an interview with Jim years back now where he was asked if he had to choose only one song to introduce to someone who had never heard them before, what one would he choose, and he chose 'Movielike'

 

I would just like to join the group of Polaris is absolute perfection in audio form. That is all.

 

I have this chalkboard I intended to write whatever lyrics I was feeling at the moment on or if ppl came over and wanted to write on it whatever and i got all these cute chalk markers and stuff and then I wrote some lyrics to Polaris and was like wow this chalkboard has peaked and I never changed them and now that chalkboard is prob stained with the lyrics for life lmao

every now and then I get these kinda moods where Invented title track is my favourite song of all time

 

I was determined to have that as my first dance wedding song for years which is kinda silly cause it's long af but I always thought it would be fun to slow dance to and then just get crazy when THERE'S A CINEMATIC END hits

 

Invented is probably my third favorite after Polaris and Pol Roger

 

yo the ceremony can wait for seven minutes, that would be an incredible choice

 

top three would be like Invented, You With Me, Table For Glasses

 

I could never play this game. Polaris is my fave but then after that there's like twenty second faves.

I can do my underrated faves which is prob You Were Good, Integrity Blues and Littlething

Love this band. Another staple in my listening that I would have never listened to had it not been for you wonderful people.

 

I think 23, Dizzy, and Kill is my "gun to my head" top three, but then I think about Invented and My Sundown and For Me This Is Heaven and feel super awful for not including them.

I listened to this band a lot in the car today. I feel a big JEW kick coming on.

 

im definitely listening to invented on the drive to work today. im guessing ill go for futures when i drive home from work later as usual, but who knows, its about time for integrity blues to hit my regular rotation for the season.

 

that very well could be my gun to head top 3 as well but it doesnt have heart is hard to find or you with me in it, my top 2, yet ITS STILL MY SAME ANSWER

Chase This Light is the reason I’m in love with this band.

August 15th, 2016 was my first time giving them a chance and dang was it a good one.

Integrity Blues though. Man.

 

The thing is that I can’t even really do favorite song per album with this band, because most of them have changed at some point. Like, my go to favorite song on Bleed is “My Sundown,” but then I listen and “If You Don’t, Don’t” comes on and I’m like “how could this not be my favorite, it’s perfect.”

 

for about 10 years cautioners was my favorite on BA and like two years ago it became a praise chorus out of nowhere. this band is insane.
