    Motel. Money. Murder. Madness.

While I understand the idea, when you don’t book potential big name guy for 9 months while he appeals the suspension, we’re gonna do the math.

On the flipside, now we’re gonna wonder if someone is actually dealing with an injury or if they pissed hot and are saying it’s a supplement. So, you’re gonna end up with a bunch of clouds.

Still no 230 main event, huh?

  7. They’re really running out of time and I don’t think they will find a fight for it.

They either do Diaz/Poirier for a belt or Rockhold/Weidman for a belt.

Neither of those fights need a title on the line but we’re talking about the UFC here who just shit belts at this point.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they floated the idea of waiting to see if Conor can turn Khabib out like he did Aldo and then have him hop on 230.

I had that exact same thought yesterday. Conor wins, then they slide Nate or Dustin in that headlining spot against him and find a replacement for the other.

Realistically, I’m predicting they will go through with the 165 belt (moving 170 up 5 pounds in the near future) and maybe adding one more significant fight to the main card, announced at the same time.

Edit: Either way, the fact remains that the UFC is not as efficient as it once was if they cannot find a main event for a card at one of the most renowned venues in the world.

I like the prospect of adding the weight class. Hoping Poirier vs Diaz is the outcome.

  11. Drinking tonight to cope with the fact that I’m gonna watch Rampage/Wandy 4 at HEAVYWEIGHT

The new weight class works be welcomed, it’s not the right way to do it though. If it was introduced properly and not because of the shit show that is ufc 230, Dustin wouldn’t go near it I don’t think. 55 is his division.

Lima is so good everywhere. I would not be surprised if he wins the whole Grand Prix.

  16. Wandy + Sandstorm will always give me goosebumps. I don't care if he's a skeleton

This is surreal watching Wanderlei and Rampage fight at all, much less fighting each other. I honestly can't even think of another rivalry outside of Sylvia/Arlovski where people have fought each other four times.

Ok, that was actually pretty entertaining despite how overweight both of them were lol but I don't blame either of them. Both of them actually showed solid chins which was good to see. Great post-fight tribute from Rampage, too. That was great.

I just can't believe 10 YEARS AGO, I couldn't believe Wand was still fighting and thought he would probably retire soon after the KO loss to Rampage....yet here we are. haha.

Mousasi dominated, as expected. He’s easily one of the biggest losses UFC suffered so far. So unbelievably fast with that jab. Rory was super thrown off by it.

I think everyone knows that Mousasi is really good, but I think his striking STILL surprises people with how fast, powerful and precise it is. Once he starts peppering people with that flicking-style jab, they’re like “oh, shit...”

Oh, and he’s also even scarier on the ground...

  24. Holy fuck. We’re only six days away from Conor/Khabib
