I can never get toaster strudel to cook evenly all the way through

 

I'm just not one for butter to begin with. Butter is used to fry my eggs and the spicy butter from my work is slathered on bread but that's all.

 

Honestly that's my favorite part haha. I like the hot outside and cold inside.

 

They're alright. It's the toasting that I don't like. I can never get them cooked well enough without turning the flaky crust black. And they need bigger frosting packets. I was super excited once and put a ton on, then I realized I had forgotten about the other strudel.

Delicious.

 

most bread tastes fine without butter so I rarely add, maybe a little on popcorn sometimes

Is anyone else a fan of those really shitty eggs, bacon, and cheese equivalents of toaster strudels? I'd let those fuck me right up back when.

 

Those were the ones I could never get to cook right but they're delicious!

 

I eat unsweetened aka plain oatmeal with chia seeds and a rolo mixed in.

 

We had some leftover pork chili verde today so I added eggs and potatoes for burritos. Used the fresh, uncooked tortillas, too. So good.

 

If anything I'll add salt or herbs to bread. Same with popcorn; that or sugar.

 

My BFF eats those eggs that are like in a milk carton looking thing. Ew.

 

It's very hard to do eggs wrong but that certainly is one way.

 

Those made me sick. I wanted to like them, but I couldn't.

Toast them on low or microwave them first! I do wish they came with more icing though.

 

@AelNire The stuff that comes in the cardboard carton? The premixed eggs/omelette stuff? I think I had that a long time ago at a hotel and it wasn't bad. That was like 15 years ago, though.

 

Toaster strudel is good but disappointing cause I can never get the frosting to look cute and swirly like the package

S'mores poptarts are the best. Brown Sugar Cinnamon is great too.

The trick with Toaster Scrambles/Strudels that I learned was that you had to toast them twice. First time on a little lower setting than you would normally set it, then a second time on a relatively low setting. Toasted them enough to cook all the way through, but not on a high enough setting that it would burn the outside.
