Are we getting a new episode this week @Jason Tate? It's been far too long!

 

We were gonna record last night and Thomas had to work crazy late and it was like 11 by the time he got home. We're thinking of taking a mini-break to launch this site, Thomas has a vacation coming up/work is nuts, and then come back in April once that's all passed. Thomas is writing up some stuff now I think. More news soon.

 

My week feels weird without Encore.

They have discussed it before though. Scheduling is difficult, plus a lot of potential guest hosts don't have the proper recording equipment on their ends.

Not a bad idea! However, I've got an incredible mic, so if I was ever asked to guest host, I'd be ready to goooooo!!! hahah

Seriously though, I feel your pain about the week feeling weird without an Encore episode. Last week, when no episode was posted, I was legitimately asking myself whether or not it was actually Thursday. Existential crisis! And now we have to wait a whole month.... It'll be worth it though. The timing was good on my part, as earlier this week I found 3-4 new podcasts to start listening to.

 

Feeling a void in my Thursday. Usually this gets me through my Thursday night close at work.

Will you guys ever have guests on the show again? I loved the episode with Vinnie Caruana.

 

We want to. The problem really comes down to time and editing and all of that. With Thomas having a full time job, and me working on, well, this, haha, we really even fight to get a 1 hour recording (and it usually takes me 2-3 to edit it) each week. I hope to do more interviews and things like that in the future, but it really will come down to our time and how this site does. If it grows and can be popular and has lots of members, and/or the podcast keeps growing and gets more sponsors and all that, that gives me the ability to put more time into it. If that makes sense.

Hah, so would I. Love his podcasts and writing and his work on the iPad is amazing.

 

I know y'all have had Riley Breckenridge on before but I love hearing him on podcasts and it would be cool to hear you guys discuss the new album with him. Whether it be before or after the album is released

 

I need this back in my life.

Thursdays haven't been the same without the Podcast lately.

 

I'll echo all of the comments that I miss this every week. Overcast feed has felt empty without it.

At least now you kinda see why last two weeks were nuts. @Thomas Nassiff is currently on some beach or boat somewhere and I'm jealous as hell. It's coming back soon, I promise.

I think we may even have a few things to talk about. Dunno.

In all seriousness, I really really dig the new everything. Congrats on an exciting new adventure.

 

With the changes with the site are you changing up the podcast to talk about other things that will be discussed on the site? Or is it going to stay mostly music?
