oh my god I spent too much time on this I need to get off this site.

 

Our faucet in the kitchen has been on its last leg forever, but we finally called the landlord yesterday because there was water under the sink that wasn't there two days ago and so he was going to come tonight to replace it and see what was going on.

Fast forward to this morning and my mom offered to take my older son for the morning during the younger one's naptime so I could get some stuff done. August had just gone down and I was like omg silence yesssss and then the doorbell rang and it was my landlord! I was like uhhh I thought you were going to take a look at it tonight (((so my husband can handle this))) and he goes nope.

The house was trashed and there were dishes all over the counter and all of my vases were still under the sink because why would I move them ahead of time and I'm just like omg why is this happening. So I quick picked up the living room and dining room and he is currently working on the faucet. I don't even know what I should be doing right now, so I'm just trying to look busy

 

I feel your pain! It’s so awkward being home when people are working on things in your house.

 

YES! I can't even corral my kids or anything because one is sleeping and the other isn't even here. I thought about doing laundry because then I could go downstairs forever, but if he has to mess with the water at all, then that doesn't seem like the best idea. At least we will have a faucet that works after this.

 

I literally was on the train when that went down. I remember listening to In Rainbows + disc 2 and being on Chorus the whole time.
